I got the same email. I wonder if a bunch of people asked for deadline extensions and got them, thus delaying the point at which GULC knows how much money is left in the scholarship budget.
Received the same email. Thinking I should just withdraw.
Well, the deadline is probably April 15th because the next scholarship acceptance deadline is April 12th. hth

DR after multiple reviews. 99.9999999% it's a ding, but, for shitsNgiggles how do the decisions come? Ding via email or do I have to wait for snailmail?

Edit- just tried to get a password...no dice. Oh well, was fun to dream! Best of luck to all!

In by snail mail yesterday, letter was dated Monday.

I was placed in the "special group" on the priority reserve waitlist in late Feb and sent an LOCI just one week before they accepted me. Wasn't expecting to hear anything until after the deposit deadline, which is why I waited so long...

Good luck to those still waiting.

Hmmm...have to make a decision on scholarship offer. As it stands the offer is pretty insignificant. Add to that the declining value proposition of a law degree in general and I'm not sure if paying $$$ for G'Town is worth it.

Kim, how did you get such a large offer??? Was it purely a merit-based award or was some of it need-based?

In off of "special group" on the priority reserve list. Received decision via snail mail this weekend, but I could have gotten it earlier in the week (was in NYC for NYU's ASW). Nice handwritten postscript at the bottom wishing me a happy birthday. However, I am planning on withdrawing sometime this week. Best of luck to the rest of you!

Did anyone else get an email asking if they were still interested in the PT program? I checked "both" and was waitlisted in January. Maybe it is a good sign....

As someone on the scholarship alternate list, I just want to say thanks to those with $ who withdrew today. I know that's always a difficult decision but you'll be helping someone out for sure....

(hopefully me?)

What is the most $$ Gtown tends to give out?

I know there's a reputation for stinginess...

And is merit money generally offered for those in the part-time program, if their application is highly competitive/ with good leverage?

GULC does not consider part-time students for merit or need-based aid - regardless of how competitive an admitted student's application may be

Put on the SG w/in the PWL back in late March for the PT program. I'm really hoping they extend me an offer!

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
