Re: Georgetown 2013/ (2014)
I'd always heard about Georgetown's quick turnaround. A lawyer in my firm said that from the day he submitted his app he got a rejection in 3 weeks flat. But my stupid little auto reject app has been hanging around for some unfathomable reason for what seems like an eternity. Complete back in October. IR for weeks now. Updated twice. Anyone else in my boat?

Not quite so long as you, November rather than October, but got two UR dates and still waiting. Last one was 1/7, fwiw.jmhendri wrote:I'd always heard about Georgetown's quick turnaround. Can any of the DR 1/15 people who were accepted log into the student site?

Negative ghostrider. Fret not, just yet, though - some people who have acceptance packets in hand still cannot log in.AngryAvocado wrote:Can any of the DR 1/15 people who were accepted log into the student site?

Just thought I'd contribute. DR 1/15 (3.8 / 169 avg., 171 high). Living in CA, but no word yet. Isn't it at least a good sign that we haven't been emailed yet?

My GULC status checker still says "Application Completed 1/4"
Confused...

Re: Georgetown 2013/ (2014)
Was able to stop home before some meetings tonight. Nothing from GULC.
If I live in DC and am DR 1/14 and have received nothing, while west-coasters who went DR 1/15 have been admitted, is it safe to assume I am not an admit?
Seems like I can make that assumption. I really thought my interview went well, too...

I'm in CA. No word yet. DR 1/14's, why do you think we're going to be waitlisted at best? Getting sadder by the minute. Just like the weather. It's actually raining in Cali, can you believe it?

Bad assumption! There are so many things that could have happened to delay your letter. Is it a policy for GULC to send out admittance notices more quickly than Waitlist/Defer/Reject notices?Shaggier1 wrote:Was able to stop home before some meetings tonight. Nothing from GULC.

Re: Georgetown 2013/ (2014)
I was under review 12/3 and then again on 1/7 and I have never received an interview request. Is this a good sign or bad sign? Numbers are competitive but not phenomenal but soft factors should be my strong point.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Re: Georgetown 2013/ (2014)
I just checked LSN, and it seems that there are no rejections yet for anyone who went DR 1/14 or 1/15. There are several pending for both dates, and there acceptances for both dates. I'm unsure why the consensus is that everyone who went DR on the same day necessarily received the same result.

Anyone apply for the PILS? Do you know when they typically notify PILS winners?

UR again (1/19). Previously: Interview 12/29, UR 1/5, UR 1/7, Hold via email 1/7. Held for less than two weeks... figured it'd be longer than that.
Ahh, stop toying with me, Georgetown!
