My campus mail system doesn't get mail on Saturdays, so I imagine I will be getting mine tomorrow!chinagator wrote:Got a priority mail packet with acceptance! Grad fellowship plus 3K scholarship for a total $17,200/yr!

EDIT: They sent it to my home address, so my mom read it to me. ( ). Got a fellowship giving in-state tuition and a work-studyesque program worth $4K per year. Nice, but I would have liked a little more. Hmmph.

Wow, your numbers are almost the same as mine and you got $17,200 a year? That makes me optimistic (assuming they accept me finally...)chinagator wrote:Got a priority mail packet with acceptance! Grad fellowship plus 3K scholarship for a total $17,200/yr!

Re: William & Mary
Got the Priority packet in the mail today. Fellowship offer for a value of $14,200/ year plus the $3000 scholarship.
Does anyone know if the $3000 scholarship is renewed every year? It says "You have been awarded a $3000 scholarship for three consecutive years of study."
Or is does this mean $3000 over the three years?

Got the same thing. From the way it is worded I am assuming it is renewable for all three years.solotee wrote:Got the Priority packet in the mail today. Fellowship offer for a value of $14,200/ year plus the $3000 scholarship.

That would be awesome! Total would come out to $51,600.Halibut6 wrote:Got the same thing. From the way it is worded I am assuming it is renewable for all three years.solotee wrote:Got the Priority packet in the mail today. Fellowship offer for a value of $14,200/ year plus the $3000 scholarship.

Yup. You and I received the exact same scholarship amounts (the fellowship and then $3k). That makes W&M's total tuition for three years less than $40k. I love the sound of that.solotee wrote:That would be awesome! Total would come out to $51,600.Halibut6 wrote:Got the same thing. Both of us are out-state. The fellowship has an out-of-state tuition waiver.

Re: William & Mary
And it's contingent on keeping out-of-state residency. If you get VA residency you lose the fellowship.wired wrote:Both of us are out-state. The fellowship has an out-of-state tuition waiver.
