Really liked BC but no merit aid after getting $24,000 from Emory drops BC below Emory at this time. Definitely disappointed.

Bummed that BC never sent any scholarship info. Looking to have this decision done. I figured that since pretty much every peer school of BC offered me money, that BC would give something along the same lines. Perhaps I am wrong. Without BC, its down to Cornell and BU. As for the NCAA tournament right now, I only have 2 more days to say that my Terriers are the defending national champs (in the greatest NCAA hockey championship game ever played nonetheless). If BC wins, I will surely be bummed, but nothing can match 2007-2008. I was an undergrad at BU at the time (and I am a HUGE Yankees fan), and in the same year, Red Sox won the World Series and BC won the NCAA title. Wanted to put a bullet in my head. 2009 was quite a bit better (Yanks championship, and Terriers NCAA title). Hockey aside, congrats to everyone who put their deposits down, and best of luck to you.

Your 26k/year scholarship was not merit based?

(Yes, I meant GPA and LSAT.)

Thats what I was referring to. Id be surprised if there wasnt some merit portion of financial aid calculations but maybe I'm wrong.

I went complete the beginning of February and I'm really going to need a decision by Friday. Any idea on when the rest of the decisions will come out? I hear they're all by mail . . . so that will take even longer.
