I'm headed there next week to visit the school.
I visited and absolutely fell in love with the school. I'm going to visit again for a guided tour and to sit in on a class in mid-feb.
Tram, I'm happy to hear that you liked it. I'm not visiting until March, but was wondering how far away from Boston the school actually was. Did you take transit from Boston to BC or drive? How were the facilities?
Facilities were amazing-- I was very impressed. I have lived in downtown Boston for many years so I have traveled to BC a few times. I took the T from Boylston St., right across the common. The school is about a 30 minute T ride from there. The city is very accessible from BC. You have to visit you'll love it!
If I attend BC, I will be living in the city and commuting 20 or so minutes.

My old roomate went to BC law and he commuted from Boston via car. If no car then there's a shuttle from main campus (I think), which is T-accessible from B line. So think Brighton, Allston, Cleveland Circle, etc for moderately cheap living. And hipsters, lots of hipsters.

Awesome information, guys. I have a car and will probably live in Boston. I hope parking isn't as bad as in NYC and DC!

ugh ryguy if we want to play the decision pending game I have been 'DP' since 12/24.
There was something that looked like movement on my application last Friday (my application updated from complete in December to complete 1/22) and still nothing...BC is my biggest reach school so I'm not expecting much but I would love to hear something.

I'm considering living downtown again-- 30 minutes isn't too bad. Especially since I'll be on the campus most of the day in the library lol.
You get the best of both words.

You shouldn't expect anything too soon. I was DP for two month before I got to DR, and I'd applied in November; I can only expect its more backed up now. Could be another month or so for you guys.

I've been DP since 12/14. I called admissions today to see what's up. She said it's usually at LEAST 8 weeks from the time you go DP. So, still at least another 2 weeks for me, assuming she told me the truth.

Hi....
I'm waiting to hear. I'm 163, 3.7, great recs and five years experience in government.
Any thoughts on a timeline for hearing based on:
Current Status: Your application has been completed.
Current Status Date: 1/22/2010
Decision Status: Pending Decision
Decision Status Date: 12/17/2009
Thanks!

They already gave me a full tuition scholarship and a living stipend to cover books and housing.
...in my dreams.

NOOOOO! I went complete 1/21/10 so i have to wait two months?????? Thats the end of March! Even so, I'd rather wait than be outright rejected, but still.. I think I'll go insane in that time.
QUESTION:
Does BC ever write that your application is Under review? Or does it remain "complete" until DR?

Nope, not a peep. I assume all ED applicants on hold will not be sent a decision until Feb. 26th.

Super weird. I've been complete since 1/21 but DP since 1/2... which is kinda weird that I went complete before you when my DP status is later than yours... does this signify anything? Or is it just a wonky admissions system?
