Re: USC 2010!
USC doesn't release decisions online, however, some schools, like Berkeley, do. You might've been confused because people were talking about being rejected/admitted based on their Decision Rendered date (...which I'm assuming is where the question stemmed from? maybe not? I'm not sure. Just trying to help!)-- USC has been sending out their decisions in batches, and the applicants in the first two batches, who received the "decision rendered" status sometime in December and then on January 11, had auto-admit numbers whereas the third batch, who received DR notification on 1/12, were unsure because some had numbers that they would not consider auto-admit.
There. I just summarized the last 3-4 pages of this thread. Not entirely sure if this post made any sense....but...

Damn, definitely have read the entire thread. I was trying to make sure I wasn't missing something on the status check website. Decision was finalized a couple days ago, anxiously awaiting the letter, hoping to find a quicker way to get my answer. The rest of the stuff in my question was about the fees section, which some schools post information about a "seat deposit" being due when they finalize an admission and I was wondering if USC did this, as some schools do and some do not. That's all.Oli wrote:I've noticed that Penn does. People are pissed cause you didn't even scroll up to notice that people are getting their decisions in the mail.StyrofoamWar wrote: I was asking if some schools release information online since none had in my experience, but people had mentioned finding what happened with their application by checking online at other schools. Clearly, it sounds like USC does not. Thanks..

I'm in the bay area and the letter did not come yesterday, hoping it will be in the mail when it gets here today. I'll post again when the mailman comes by. He and I are getting to know each other. ha.msch0i wrote:Any of the 1/12 DRs get their letter yet? I reeeeaaally want to know!

I went "Complete" on 11/9 and haven't had anything change since. USC is a reach for me but I had assumed because my app was in early that they'd at least put it "In Review" by now..
Thoughts? Do you think it's good, bad or neutral that they're sitting on my application?

Re: USC 2010!
So it seems that a lot of people who went UR when I did (mid-Dec) have gone DF. Did anyone who received the Rothman invite and went UR around mid-Dec not get there decision yet? Should I contact them or just send in my Rothman app even though I have not gotten a decision yet? Thanks for the help everybody, I am just getting a little nervous/anxious.

DF 1/11 and just got my acceptance letter in the mail! USC is my absolute first choice, so today is an amazing day. Now I just need to write that pesky Rothman essay and hope that they decide to give me a little $$!

How long does it take everyone to go complete? My status still says "12/23 Incomplete". I took the December LSAT but I figured by now I would be complete. All my other schools are complete, maybe SC is just slow?

I hope not, but I suspect about a month. Then again, there were some that went from UR 01/06---DR 01/12.finalaspects wrote:anyone have a rough estimate of the time it takes from under review to decision?
