im worried that i am getting more hopeful though. i'm more inclined to believe that this is still a rejection batch. not sure if that one poster who had a 178/2.5 was telling the truth about being accepted DF 4/27. i really think he was DF 4/26 or lying.

1. end of cycle. their goal was end of this month so they have to give out decisions to everyone including those on the border line. (possibly all rejections)
2. we might not be immediate admits but we might all have some great softs of some kind. many seem to be non-traditional with work experience.
3. being near the May 1st deposit deadline, USC might have secured their medians, hence being able to accept splitters/reverse splitters to further secure their numbers. that or since they secured their medians they want diversity, which is what im hoping our softs come into play.
4. they might not have secured their medians, hence are now accepting splitters/reverse splitters to make sure since most of us can sustain or improve either the LSAT or GPA medians.

yea i believe those emails took at least took around 24-48 hours.

I like the optimism. I guess we'll find out soon enough

1. I was complete on 1/20. I was still complete 1/20 when I checked 4/26 (I think). Then yesterday, I went DF 4/27.
2. I have 4 years of work experience in a fairly unique soft. I think this is how I got onto most of my waitlists.

But I went DF 4/27 and have a 161 and a 4.0. I'm a URM, and I have some good softs. Maybe this could shed some light on the situation.
It kind of seems like we are all slightly unique in one way or another. Hopefully this means they want us!

i just want that other guy to verify if he went DF 4/27 and not 4/26.... 178/2.5 guy who got accepted already... but he really got the email too quick to be 4/27.

so technically since the day you knew you went DF (friday) it took 3 days for the email.

which also shows that the other guy who had a 178/2.5 who stated he got the email just now, would be a DF for 4/26 like you, and not DF 4/27. makes sense.
