I don't think "variety" is the right word. We certainly include a wide variety of topics in here. If you meant variety of posters, then well yes, it could use some variety.Pausanias wrote:Don't return to lurking. Great link to the 2011 thread, Pausanias. With these SLS and YLS acceptances I need as much info as I can get!

This thread is growing by leaps and bounds every day! Thanks to Pausanias for the links. Thanks to everyone else for the trivial chatter.

To get back to our crucial topic, I am loving University of Louisiana at Lafayette's mascot: the Cayenne Pepper. Fightin' with capsaicin! (I just made that little jingle up, maybe I should send it to them.)

Eh, what do you fine ladies and gentlemen think about starting a Yale 2013 thread, so that those of us with weak hearts don't think theres admissions action every time it gets updated?

But there is no mascot that would beat Ole Miss if they chose to adopt Admiral Ackbar.

Wow. It would be hard to root against them, even for a Tide fan like myself.

As much as I love Ingram, I actually agree with you. Ingram didn't show up in every game, especially against Auburn, but Gerhart came to work Every Single Saturday. I hope he goes in the 2nd to a team that makes him their lead back.crackberry wrote:Ingram stole the Heisman from Gerhart.Pausanias wrote:But there is no mascot that would beat Ole Miss if they chose to adopt Admiral Ackbar.

While I was hoping to start a flame war and you crushed those dreams, I appreciate your acknowledgment of the truth. I hope Toby goes 2nd round as well, but I doubt he'll be a lead back. If only he were 2 inches taller and 40 pounds heavier, he'd make a great fullback.Pausanias wrote:As much as I love Ingram, I actually agree with you. To be blatantly racialst, he reminds me of the Bengal Brian Leonard, the former Scarlet Knight, who is sort of a hybrid FB/RB. I think Toby could be better, though. Though I think SF goes Spiller in the 1st, I'd love it if Toby ended up in SF.

I can see Toby going to San Diego. They could use the workhorse-type back to complement Sproles.

Oh my lord, yes. I won the consolation bracket Steve Slaton and Anquan Boldin woefully underperformed for me.Pausanias wrote: Brilliant.
