Obviously, this can't be the case since I was only just informed of my acceptance. Did anyone else get one of these? It was in the back of the brochure where the invite to Law Day was.
I believe you are supposed to address it and mail that back with your first seat deposit, and they will send it back to you to acknowledge receipt of your deposit.
Good call. Thanks.
Just one sentence which I completely overlooked.

Personally, I didn't get one. Just an email that they received my application. But that could be that I applied just before the break.

Never got an email, but got a snail mail today about the scholarship. 10k/yr. I was hoping more in the 23k range. Tough decision.

Can anyone tell me about the Miami Scholars program? Do you have to commit to public interest law for a period of time? Do you need really high scores to qualify?
I don't mean to seem ungrateful, but 10k just isn't gonna do it. I need more cash or I've gotta look elsewhere. Bummer night..

I called the Admissions Office at UMiami today to check on the status of my application. The woman told me a decision had been reached, but she refused to give me the decision over the phone. Doesn't Miami tell you over the phone?? I asked her if it meant that was bad and she said no. She told me they'd send the snail mail today.
Did anyone hear from Miami over the phone or was this woman lying to me? Now I'm afraid it's a rejection.
My numbers are 161, 3.08, and URM (South American). Good PS and VERY strong GPA addendum.

I got my decision over the phone, but they were hesitant about it. It was also because I was planning a visit, and I wouldn't get the decision via mail before I was planning on going to Miami. I hope that helps!

It isn't like the decision is going to magically change from "reject" if it comes in the mail and "accept" if you get it on the phone...
Oh, and I'm withdrawing. Accepted to better schools that cost less. Cheers, I will still be jealous of all of you who get to spend time in Miami studying!!

You are not a URM, but I think you are in anyway. Don't worry.
