For RD folks, in 2008 they didn't send out decisions until Jan, after ED rejections. In 2007 they sent out RD acceptances more or less concurrent with ED rejections around Dec-18. So you could be around the corner or 5 weeks away.

It's possible this is due to them including your interview in your file. My file went complete a few business days after I applied. I interviewed shortly therafter, but the complete date was the day before my interview. Some time later (maybe the next week?) they updated my complete date to two days after my interview. I haven't been updated since that happened in mid October, and I'm ED. It's possible that this is what happened in your case.
Do you think they'll wait for your Dec score?
Every time I read your posts in this thread it makes me nauseous.

WTF NU? I submitted my app via LSAC on 11/30 and my report (according to LSAC) still says:
Status:The law school has not requested your report
Did this happen to anyone else?

I'm tossing my hat into the ring, though just being RD means I won't hear anything for a while.
Too bad I applied too late to request an interview. Those seem to be helpful, and I need all the help I can get!

Mine does too. I can't decide if I hope someone on these boards that applied ED actually gets in so I can know a little more about where I stand, or if I want to be blissfully ignorant!

I really wish I didn't read NayBoer's analysis of when to expect ED results. If some people get response on Friday and I don't I'm going to have a shitty Christmas.
Although I pretty much expect a Waitlist. Thats how they usually handle extreme splitters. At least NU's waitlist isn't a wild goose chase.

Well I'm generally in favor of having more information than not knowing. Even if we get bad news from Northwestern we can use Christmas break to figure out how to move forward from there!

Based on LSN research, anybody who reads this sentence will be waitlisted and doomed to a lasting, sorrowful depression. You read it; you can't un-read it.
I should mention to you all that my work experience was as one of the trumpet-wielding cherubs from the Book of Revelation.

166-170-172
But from what I remember of the waitlist thread this past summer, most of the lower LSATs got pulled off the waitlist with combinations like 167/3.8 or 166/3.9. So reverse-splitters.

by pulled off do you mean the reverse splitters were accepted or rejected?
and what happened to the low splitters like 168/3.1?

I'm sorry. But remember, LSN IS only a small portion, so maybe there are 168 splitters who got in that we don't know about! There may be hope!

i doubt it, or if there were, they must have had a high GPA to counter it. but you have a very good shot!

Yep, I'm a 168, low 3.xish gpa, ton of WE, snowball's chance in hell of getting in, because general rule is you have to be at or above one of the medians or they can't really go with you (in general for most schools). 25/75 if not so useful as is median info

I want blissful ignorance... but then again I'm convinced I'll get rejected everywhere after my fucking WL at Notre Dame...
Gotta stop checking TLS...

My default position is to try to assume WL or OUT everywhere. That way a waitlist or rejection is expected and an acceptance is a happy surprise.

As of a year or two ago USNWR was using a psuedo-median in which they took the 25/75 and just averaged it to make fake median, and they used that. I don't know if they stopped or not, but I haven't heard it. This makes sense because schools seem to really value LSAT's over their 75%.
