I don't know. Maybe it's because I personally know multiple people who got in during committee review who were far from auto-admit, but I am happy to be patient. The wait sucks but I expected a reverse-y splitter like me to have to wait it out almost everywhere I applied...and likely get some crappy news when all is said and done. Beer and tequila definitely help, though.

you're right... my stats are no shoe-in at Berkeley... I should have more patience. But I've been UR since 10/22. I thought I'd know either way by now.

Neelio: when I get home tonight (I'm still at work...sad but true), I will raise my Yuengling to you. That is a long-ass time to be under review but don't lose hope just yet.

As far as I know, Managamy hasn't gotten in yet with an early completion date, and he should be a shoe-in. Maybe they're not strictly chronological?

Yeah... lol, in the law school apps = dating thread, whoever made up that analogy should reconsider. This is much more depressing than being rejected from a boy/girl/depending how you swing.

10/22 and above both medians. I think I'm starting to relax with the waiting, though. Maybe since the semester's over, grades are in, and my overall stress levels are down.

But I have to disagree with the thought from two posts above; LS non-news is not nearly as depressing as getting the red light from someone whom you like.

There are lots of great law schools, but only one boy / girl who turns you on at the moment.

From LSN, it looks like today's batch was URMs as well as people that have been under review since early November.

In today by email, under review on 12/7. My LSAT score isn't great, so I guess it must be true that Berkeley gives a lot of love to high GPAs and good softs. Good luck to everyone

Thought I'd follow up on that with some numbers-type stuff, since I haven't posted mine anywhere.

Pretty good, but not super, LSAT (under 170), high GPA, and couple yrs out of school doing an odd collection of things.
