They decided to let me in. Woo!! They're flying me out for ASW. We should have a Berktown 2010 thread reunion.

No, about an hour ago. I wasn't near a computer or you all would've been the first to know.

Submitted 10/1, 2 pager for my PS, 173 (multiple LSATs) / 3.9, call around 2:15 PST.

But it's only 3:30 PST. It's not too late Dean Tom. I'll answer your call anytime, anyday.

Are any 176+, 3.8+ early October applicants still waiting to hear back? Trying to decide if they have finished this round of acceptances.

Thanks guys. For all the crap I've talked about Berkeley since the tuition hikes, now I realize I was just playing hard to get. I think only a Yale, Stanford, or Columbia acceptance would sway me. That or a Mordecai ;).

Good luck everyone.

Boalt tweeted this on 10/21:

"(As of 9:00am this morning) We have about 800 applications for Fall 2010, already showing an increase over last year at this time."
800 eh? damn
I actually thought it would be more...
Agreed. Considering they had over 7,000 applications last year, 800 is not that many for end of October. Maybe unlike what it feels like on TLS, those of us that submitted in November really are considered early.

Maybe Boalt has finally conceded to the other top schools' perception that LSAT is a better indicator than GPA? Funny, because UVA seems to be going the opposite direction.

I'm kicking myself for waiting until 11/25 to send out my berk app - but it was worth it for the fee waiver I suppose. Went complete in 5 days so just waiting... congrats all!
