i was thinking of sending in a last minute email LOCI. i applied in december (also to Root Tilden Kern-which i never heard back about, at all), and have heard not one word. i thought i had a pretty good chance (3.6, 171), and NYU was my number one choice.

anyway, my question is, is it worth it to send a letter? or should i just wait for the waitlist notice...

Hi all - Just called to check on the status of my app and the very nice woman who answered told me that my decision had been mailed and that I should expect it sometime next week...

I dont know if I ever wrote this, but even with my Chicago offer, NYU rejected my appeal for any aid. So I officially withdrew a few days ago!

sorrrrrrryyyyyyyyy... seriously, I don't think at this point in the game you'll lose a thing by calling. If anything, if you guys unionize and call all at once they won't even be able to keep track

I think I might stop by both financial aid offices on Monday and tell them exactly that...
