Not at all. I honestly think UVA is a better school. I am curious if anyone with fall grade requests has been accepted though.Helmholtz wrote:Sorry, dude. At least you know? Are you going to pursue it?D Brooks wrote:WL'ed via snail mail today. A mere 23 weeks after I went complete!

Re: NYU 2010
Makes sense, and I would be curious about that too. Would be even more curious to learn if anybody who didn't get a request ended up getting in (I don't see this as very likely, but whatever). I'll probably pull a quick withdraw when I get my WL mail (this is assuming, of course, they don't outright reject me).D Brooks wrote:Not at all. I honestly think UVA is a better school. Re: NYU 2010
I should have applied to CLS so I could have potentially pulled the CCN WL trifecta as well.
I'm actually considering staying on (since it's likely their yield is more TTT than in years past) and if offered admission, immediately declining on the phone.

Nothing and I live in upstate NY.
If I have already deposited at another school, can I still accept NYU's offer (g-d willing) if they come through?

Nothing in Kansas. Patiently awaiting my waitlist, yet hoping for the best.

Re: NYU 2010
I'm in KS. fwiw, any snail mail correspondence I've EVER received from ANY school (thats Columbia, NYU and Gtown) has been on a Saturday. I don't know if its mere coincidence that approx. 5 mailings have all reached me on a Saturday, but there it is. Maybe schools have a practice of using the same mail-out days. Yeah, pretty sure that's fine, provided you 1) withdraw from the other school before depositing at NYU, and 2) are fine with losing your deposit money from the other institution.rockchalk86 wrote:Nothing and I live in upstate NY.

I did this. Lost me $500 bucks, but no harm other than that.clintonius wrote:Yeah, pretty sure that's fine, provided you 1) withdraw from the other school before depositing at NYU, and 2) are fine with losing your deposit money from the other institution.rockchalk86 wrote:Nothing and I live in upstate NY.

Withdrew my offer this morning. Good luck to all still waiting. Sorry NYU was less than speedy this year.

So today is the day when the last scraps of hope will die. This will occur at approximately 1PM.
Good luck everyone who is left on this sinking ship.
