How do you figure out what your index is? From LSP?

Anyone know if the Columbia status checker switches to "Under Review" at any point? Does it just stop at "Complete" and then you receive an envelope?

My index is a 4.3? What does this index thing even mean?

4.5 and not a word. I'm hoping (but am not confident) that this snowstorm has something to do with it.

i think 4.4+ is safe territory (historically) for an admit. it is the scale used by the ad-comm to rank applicants based on numbers

apparently it stops at 'Complete'...I had the same question and this is what other people told me.
Yup. I got the envelope yesterday and mine still says complete.

Historically, yes. Last year, no. Only 2/3 of people with our numbers 3.9-ish / 173 were admitted. However, a consolation is that most of the people not admitted got at least one of HYS. Strangely, almost everyone 3.6-3.8 / 173 were admitted.

That seems really weird...YP?
I doubt they YP since they have a 32% yield. Just awkward. I've been kind of worried about CLS ever since I saw the graph: http://columbia.lawschoolnumbers.com/stats/0809/

i did notice that as well...very strange trend. it does look like 07/08 is a bit more clear though. do you know if shoshana or maggiebrie got in? (similar numbers)

Yeah, but probably only because they haven't started WLs and rejections yet.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
