How do you figure out what your index is? From LSP?CanadianEH wrote:4.5 index, splitter-ish. Still no word, although I applied after getting my Dec. LSAT score.

Anyone know if the Columbia status checker switches to "Under Review" at any point? Does it just stop at "Complete" and then you receive an envelope?

My index is a 4.3? What does this index thing even mean?

4.5 and not a word. I'm hoping (but am not confident) that this snowstorm has something to do with it.

i think 4.4+ is safe territory (historically) for an admit. it is the scale used by the ad-comm to rank applicants based on numbersDanInALionsDen wrote:My index is a 4.3? What does this index thing even mean?

Historically, yes. Last year, no. Only 2/3 of people with our numbers 3.9-ish / 173 were admitted. However, a consolation is that most of the people not admitted got at least one of HYS. Strangely, almost everyone 3.6-3.8 / 173 were admitted.englawyer wrote:i think 4.4+ is safe territory (historically) for an admit. it is the scale used by the ad-comm to rank applicants based on numbersDanInALionsDen wrote:My index is a 4.3? I doubt they YP since they have a 32% yield. Just awkward. I've been kind of worried about CLS ever since I saw the graph: http://columbia.lawschoolnumbers.com/stats/0809/blue5385 wrote:That seems really weird...YP?VoidSix wrote:Historically, yes. Yeah, but probably only because they haven't started WLs and rejections yet.englawyer wrote:it also looks like a nice thick sea of green there on this year's graph. hmm..
