edit: in the WL email, they asked me to write ANOTHER essay telling them why I love Chicago.

And if you really want Chicago, I recommend doing it.

Lol, too late now. I opted not to write the essay. A quick look on LSN shows that almost everyone with around my numbers gets waitlisted, so at least I'm not alone.

Hopefully they'll accidentally allow us to enroll for the Fall, and only realize their oversight after we graduate.

You haven't asked before, and... I'm not sure. I'm leaning heavily toward NYU at this point for several reasons, but there is UofC law in my family, and it would be difficult for me to turn down.

Straight-up ding today, via email. UR for the first time 3 business days ago (Thursday), so evidently they found the decision pretty simple.

I think it's fairly safe to assume the ding/wl decision hinges on their weighted opinion of one's likelihood of attendance against the relative numeric averages of the rest of the WL.

edit: I'm still "complete" (and just went "complete" about 7 days ago)... the pickin's they are a'slimmin'.

Just went UR again 4/28. First UR 4/2. I wonder if there is any chance they'll notify me of something before I have to put my deposit down at Northwestern on Friday?? Here's hoping.
