Hopefully we don't have to wait until December
I just reread the email... said two months from submission to the committee -- I think you are right.

Word on the street is that the email from last year also said "two months from the date of submission" but they obviously did not adhere to that.

if it were just the email, i would discount it -- but HLS adcomms explicitly said that last yr holding off till the end to do waitlists and rejections was a big mistake, one they would not repeat. so it puts more weight on their "2 months for a decision" bit.

Yes when you went under review, but im not sure what emptybee is talking about on the dates. those who submitted in Sept went under review by 9/30 ish, not the end of Oct.
So that would make it near the end of November ie next week. Besides, JR even told one applicant that she'd hear back before Thanksgiving, assuming she's accepted.

It's only been 12 days guys don't worry about it too much yet.. I was under review 10/23 and had to wait 18 days before I got a JR1. Plus it should slow down as more apps come in during this period than before.

Yeah, I wouldn't start worrying yet. I had to wait 19 days to get a JR1.

i waited over a month for mine. granted, i don't think that's typical, but it shows that waiting 3 weeks+ doesn't automatically mean game over

With your stats? That really sucks! I guess I shouldnt be complaining then. Anyway I believe there's still a 10-15 day period from now during which we may have a chance.
Good luck! I really have a hard time believing they wont even grant you an interview...

This thread gets increasingly more difficult to read as JR1's continue to pour out...for some reason I keep reading though...

I've given up hoping for a JR1 email, and am now just hoping that there was some mistake and he is going to call me for an interview that I should have already been notified about.

I went under review at the end of September...still nada. I have to imagine that if an acceptance was possible, I should have at least heard SOMETHING by now. I suppose the dream is dead. Oh well...it was a long shot anyway.
Good luck to all others!

I went complete on Nov. 12...when should I begin looking for JR1s in my mailbox (praying that they even come, of course)?

Just had my JR1, ~6 mins... yeah and kinda feel like I blew it even though I don't really know why. Were most of your guys JR1s just you talking and Josh asking those 3 main questions?? (Oh and then answering yours)...
Also what timeline did he say if you asked him when you would hear back for those getting the call this week of November (11/16~11/20)?

definitely just that -- him asking and me answering. i asked one question about the 40 hrs pro bono requirement and he gave me a quick answer. it was very basic and it felt like he was moving pretty quickly, someone else pm'ed me and said they'd had one today that was <10mins also. i didn't ask about the timeline but he said "so what will happen now is your application will go back to the committee and we'll do our best to get back to you as soon as we can."

had mine yesterday, was 11:32, but that's a bit inflated by the fact that my service was bad, so i had to repeat myself once or twice. but the content of the interview was the same - what've you been up to, why law school, why harvard. i asked him about leg+reg, how and why they developed it, and about reading groups for 1Ls. at the end he told me pretty much the same thing (that the committee will continue to review my app and he would let me know "in the next few weeks")
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
