Hang in there, Zara. I'm at 3 weeks and counting. But I think we still have a shot. And it sounded like your JR1 went really well!Zara wrote:Out of the people on here who had jr1s last week, I'm the only one who didnt get a JR2 today. sucks.

i dont know, before i got the jr1 email i thought harvard would just reject me outright so i didnt have any hopes or expectations. After the really quick jr1 email I got really excited and hopeful so now i feel like i have so much more invested in it than I did before.BioEBear2010 wrote:Know what sucks more? Guess that makes sense I've just been going through life not even thinking about the big H. Still, there is a lot of time left in the cycle for you guys.portena wrote:Saaaaame. Re: Harvard 2010!
haha don't worry about it. I was looking for something that would give me hope, even false hope! The other two people who had interviews last week had higher LSAT scores than me (mine is only 172). So maybe now that they have all the apps in they are just doing auto admits and holding off on people with median/borderline numbers?crackberry wrote:Welcome to my life.Zara wrote:i dont know, before i got the jr1 email i thought harvard would just reject me outright so i didnt have any hopes or expectations. Well that is my way of rationalizing it. I have good offers elsewhere so it won't be the end of the world if they reject me but it would make the world seem a lot prettier (at least until classes start) if they let me in.

We can only hope. Also, 172 is the king of LSAT scoresZara wrote:The other two people who had interviews last week had higher LSAT scores than me (mine is only 172). So maybe now that they have all the apps in they are just doing auto admits and holding off on people with median/borderline numbers?

I know... I, for one, simply cannot believe they allow these 172ers to post... I suppose there is something to be said for equality, though...CordeliusX wrote:This is exactly the problem with TLS.Zara wrote: (mine is only 172).

I've noticed it before - just hadn't said anything until now.DoubleChecks wrote:i stalk hobbes. this is at least the second time someone has pointed out his wit (in a favorable fashion)
My point was that I don't remember noticing it until he wrote those short notes to Yale the day he apparently wrote his 250 (two weekends ago I think).
The "See you in hell, Yale. Or in New Haven if you admit me"-type notes.

Okay kids. Legally Blonde showed in my mail today (Netflix). I sense that this is a premonition. I'll watch it tonight as I'm going to bed and Harvard will offer me a phone interview tomorrow.

Words that would be more comforting with a JR1. Also, those aren't my exact stats (gotta throw off the adcoms, don'tcha know. Not that I post anything offensive or incriminating. Hi Josh! Can't wait to talk to you!).$1.99 wrote:with a 177 and a 3.9 gpa i think you will be fine if you just go to bed

so as long as your "functionally equivalent" numbers arent very liberal estimates (like by 177 you meant 172), you're golden imo
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
