Re: IN at Lewis & Clark
Bah... still stuck at "Application Complete."
Is it possible for them to make a decision and mail a response without updating the L&C user status? I thought I remember someone mentioning this had happened to them.
Thanks.

Most people did not get accepted until mid Feb according to LSN so I wouldn't be worrying to much...

I actually got a large manila envelope from L&C... you can imagine my excitement! I soon realized it was just a pamphlet they'd sent on "practical skills." Nice, but not as nice as an acceptance would be... lol!

Anyone else get an email about financial aid to "dear prospective student" today? I got one from LC and one from Notre Dame. Still no official word from either....

I got a phone call today from one of the admissions people, reminding me that I was accepted and making sure I received the packet. Nice touch.

Re: IN at Lewis & Clark
I don't know, but mine says decision processed 1/21 and still nothing. I keep thinking "If I go to the mailbox today there will be something for sure" and then finding K Mart ads and really big packets that look like they would be law school acceptances from health insurance companies. I think I hate mail.abc123456 wrote:when are these 1/28-1/30 decisions coming?

If you order by "complete date" at LSN then check against the scores on the LSAT everyone before 01/07/09 who scored above 160 is in, everyone 160 or below is pending. There are a couple of outliers but these appear to be NTAs or anomalies. I think like me all the other 160 and below people are in a big stack waiting for reject letters or second consideration. GPA does not appear to have an influence. GL to all my fellow applicants. This is my first choice school -- will update if I hear anything good.

I'm pending, but my status checker says "Decision Sent" since 1/28. So I won't be pending too much longer.checkingandchecking wrote:If you order by "complete date" at LSN then check against the scores on the LSAT everyone before 01/07/09 who scored above 160 is in, everyone 160 or below is pending. I must be an outlier: applied 1/5 and have a 160s lsat; but a pretty shitty gpacheckingandchecking wrote:If you order by "complete date" at LSN then check against the scores on the LSAT everyone before 01/07/09 who scored above 160 is in, everyone 160 or below is pending. I also saw someone on LSN with 148 LSAT and 3.15 GPA, congrats to her. Good luck to everyone!

My status checker says "decision processed 1/30" but I haven't received anything yet. Just the financial aid reminder email.

Re: IN at Lewis & Clark
I got a 165/3.38, but still haven't heard yet - then again, this whole process has turned me into something of an emotional muppet. I'm a teacher and it's an interesting experience to be sweating admissions decisions along with my students.
It seems to me that above a certain LSAT threshold people get scholarship amounts based on GPA, but that's my totally unscientific eyeballing.

Re: IN at Lewis & Clark
Yes....first said "file complete" on 1/30, then "decision processed" 1/30, now back to file complete 1/30. Madness. I called and asked what that meant and recieved the response..."it means your file is complete, a decision has been made, and you should be hearing from us in a week or two". Man I was hoping to get something in the mail from them today.

I have been 'file is complete' since 1/7, and it still just says 'file is complete', but now it has the date as 2/4. Any idea why it would change if I never had a 'decision processed'?
