Re: Yale c/o 2021 Applicants Thread (2017-2018)
Anyone else here get invited to a Yale webinar with the associate director of admissions? I didn't apply because I assumed Yale was impossible with my stats. The topic of the webinar is life at Yale and how to get through the application process. Is this just YP?

I got one of these too- figured it was worth attending for the interest demonstration, as I'd already applied. My email said that they were selecting candidates from my school and other similar ones (same athletic league) so I'm not sure it's a hugely specific thing.jibrahim23 wrote:Anyone else here get invited to a Yale webinar with the associate director of admissions? Yale does not YP. It's Yale FFS. What I can say is that I thought my stats were impossible, yet here we are. If you're serious about YLS, put your best application out there.jibrahim23 wrote:Anyone else here get invited to a Yale webinar with the associate director of admissions? Haven't gone confirmed, but considering they were definitely closed 12/23-1/1 and the bomb cyclone, I still think you're on the timeline when thinking about business daysspicysalmonroll wrote:I got the "application received" email on 12/23. Thank you! I'll be attending the 3/26 one, but there's another one (I think April 14-15).blabla33 wrote:Congrats! When is the ASW for Yale?KENYADIGG1T wrote:Yale does not YP. It's Yale FFS. Same here. Submitted 12/26 and no complete email yet. Like you said, given the holidays + weather, I’m not super concerned. Yale will be a long wait anyways, so I might as well get used to it.LSATuration wrote:Haven't gone confirmed, but considering they were definitely closed 12/23-1/1 and the bomb cyclone, I still think you're on the timeline when thinking about business daysspicysalmonroll wrote:I got the "application received" email on 12/23. Just went complete. Submitted 12/15. It's kind of nice that I know not to expect any updates from now until I receive a decision.
