Someone on Reddit just got accepted having gone UR2 around 11/30. Good sign for those seemingly passed over in last week's wave.

So I lurked through last years thread and there were three waves in January
1/12 RD
1/23 RD
1/27 ED2
So far this January we've had two RD waves, 1/10 and 1/16, which leads me to believe there's a chance of ED2 hearing back as early as this Friday.

I’d love for that to be true but the deadline to get all materials in for ED was only yesterday. My pessimistic self feels like they’d need more time to review the ED 2 pool?mwells56 wrote:So I lurked through last years thread and there were three waves in January

My fraternity has a nice tradition where once a senior gets a job they buy a case of beer (to be consumed by those above 21, of course) for the next chapter meeting. don't know if anybody's done if for grad school acceptance/might be lame if I do that but I'm considering it

Not an international applicant, but abroad at the time that I applied. They sent me a nice email welcoming me to Penn Law, but I haven’t yet received the big official email.pancakes4ever wrote:Are you international?#gobroncos wrote:IN via email!
I was UR 12/11 for what that’s worth.

Should I give up hope on being swept up in this wave? UCR2 12/11.

Same position and UCR2 date. There have been numerous admits who went UCR2 on our date admitted today but the wave does appear to have slowed down and may be over. I don't think Penn is done looking at late Nov/early Dec UCR2 candidates. All those admitted on LSN appear to have very stellar numbers for Penn so I guess at this stage numbers seem more important than completion/UCR2 date. Being passed over for now hopefully isn't the end of the world.albinododobird wrote:Should I give up hope on being swept up in this wave? UCR2 12/11.

Seems like it might have been quite a small wave if it's over.

Agreed. Last week's wave saw 27 admits reported on LSN, today only 6.sharris2017 wrote:Seems like it might have been quite a small wave if it's over.

Finally UR1. I think. I am checking so many statuses that I can't even be 100% sure that it isn't UR2...

Just looked up the Penn 2019 thread just for funsies and it looks like ED 2 has two admission waves (1/22 and 1/29) so maybe there is hope for an earlier wave? Hmmm!!!
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
