Looking at how few people have been admitted at all, I wouldn't expect a ding based on lack of information. They've actively dinged folks in the past few weeks, but only the very first non-ED acceptances have gone out.xinaialice wrote:OOS, interviewed 11/25, submitted my app in the mid-October. Haven't received any updated info yet. Should I expect a ding at this point?

no, which is why I'm super surprised to get an interview request at all! I hadn't followed up with them since getting the RD email

Re: Texas Law Class of 2021 Applicants (2017-2018 cycle)
Not that weird. ED comes with guaranteed scholarship money right? So it's likely they think you a good candidate, they just didn't think you strong enough for guaranteed money so early in the cycle (meaning they might still give you money, they just wanted more time and information to think it over). Good luck!jgcl0527 wrote:tony_dirko wrote:Did you submit a LOCI or anything since getting held?jgcl0527 wrote:Interview request today after getting kicked from ED to RD. OOS splitter

Any idea on when scholly info will be coming out? I think it's supposed to be soon but haven't seen anything yet.

Is it concerning that I’ve been complete since 10/27 with no movement/interview request at all? I’m OOS, RD, 171/3.5

Did you write a Why Texas? Either way, they’re dealing with increase apps which means things are taking longer. A slow acceptance is always better than a quick rejection.evanrn wrote:Is it concerning that I’ve been complete since 10/27 with no movement/interview request at all? I’m OOS, RD, 171/3.5

Do we need to have the FAFSA done at this point? Or will this scholarship info be entirely merit based?

Got in yesterday via phone call! Complete 11/13, in state, interviewed a week after complete. This is my number one choice so I am very excited!
Does anyone know when the status tracker changes?

Submitted on 12/22 and still no status checker. Is that normal?

FYI for admits. A mailer is coming after the first big packet but it’s not scholarship info so don’t let your blood pressure rise out of anticipation like I just did

I did back, December 9th. App was complete 10/1.
On another note, I understand lawschool is an incredible amount of studying and that is the reason we are there, but earlier in the semester does anyone know if people go to the games at all?
Before people jump down my throat, I fully get it that law is not undergrad... I’m talking about a game in September or early October
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
