Status question?

I am curious what the different status codes mean. Is it different for each school? I thought that "pending" meant they were considering an application but then I noticed the status change to "review". It also says "decision to be mailed". Does this mean that it has been mailed or will be mailed?

it really depends on each school. there is no general way to interpret these codes
