The idea of waiting for something makes it more exciting.

I'm also on the PWL. I'm hoping we'll hear from them soon!

Re: EMORY WAITLIST Class of 2020
Maybe all the festivities surrounding the 100th year celebration of Emory has caused a delay this year? It looks like the law school had events/parties last week. I would love to join the celebration! We must comfort ourselves with speculation grasshopper...

Didn't they say they expect people to start getting pulled off in late May to June? Maybe I'm making that up, but I thought I heard that somewhere.Dirtyolmuskrat wrote:How do we still have no movement?

I don't remember that. I just know by this time last year and the year before they'd already accepted several people off the waitlistdbalkaran wrote:Didn't they say they expect people to start getting pulled off in late May to June? LOL. I have MY knees on the ground! Either there has been movement and we're in queue, or there's been a pause. Any word?

Called the admissions office yesterday. It wasn't very informative except to say that they just began reviewing waitlisted applicants. I asked if anyone had been admitted yet and received a noncommittal answer.

Thanks for sharing that. I'm glad to hear that they're reviewing the waitlist.cjar819 wrote:Called the admissions office yesterday. I called earlier today and receive a similar answer. I know there is an Emory class of 2020 facebook group, does anyone know if we're allowed to join or is it reserved for admitted students only.

The 2019 waitlist cycle on TLS seems indicates that PWL began to calls began last week of April to the beginning of May. Hopefully, we will hear something soon. I have my confetti launcher on stand-by! Your thoughts?

Will they inform you of a rejection if they choose not to take you off the waitlist?legalandsingle wrote:The 2019 waitlist cycle on TLS seems indicates that PWL began to calls began last week of April to the beginning of May. I hope we see some movement this week. I wonder what they are waiting on....HYS and the trickle down effect? I'm starting to worry about finding a place if I were to be admitted!

Each passing day draws me closer to another great law school that selected ME as their first choice. Why did you do this to me Emory? lol

Re: EMORY WAITLIST Class of 2020
Starting to think it's like the class of 2017 where they took like nobody off the waitlist and had people on the PWL hoping for movement in August... The last two years already had multiple waves by now. I'm planning on Emory not being an option at all and just leaving us waiting til school starts.legalandsingle wrote:Each passing day draws me closer to another great law school that selected ME as their first choice. Seriously? What are you waiting for?
