Hey guys - Emory 1L here. Happy to answer any questions if anyone wants to PM me! I remember how frustrating it was during the application process last year because it seems like compared to other schools on here there's a relative gap in info on Emory from current students!

Why does the admissions office come off as incredibly unorganized, specifically the student reps?kriegsinnervoice wrote:Hey guys - Emory 1L here. FedEX shipment from Atlanta notification = presumed acceptance. Yay!jza1994 wrote:Checking in. I applied 1/16 and got the email saying my app was complete on 1/17. This may be the only school that I applied where I wasn't either a reverse splitter or over both 75th percentiles- ha! (161/3.85)

Prior to sending a package, they will send you an email attached with a xeroxed pdf of your admission letter, so you will know it immediately after the decision is made. Although the mailing of the package would take quite a long time.wannabeu wrote:How does emory send their decisions to international applicants? Still waiting and it's killing me...

Hey guys, new to the forum. I know someone mentioned earlier in this thread that Emory usually sends decisions out in mid-January to mid-February and I haven't heard back yet so I'm wondering if that's a good or a bad thing. Have a lot of people received a decision yet?

Thank you that makes me feel much better. I really like Emory, but it's probably a little bit of a reach for me.floatie wrote:Its not late enough in the cycle to worry. Re: Emory Law c/o 2020 (2016-2017)
From my understanding there's no hard GPA requirement but ELJ obviously typically takes top students that do well on the write-on. The other journals are great too though and they're more flexible with GPAs.S.Picquery wrote:or any of the other Emory students on here:kriegsinnervoice wrote:
