Lewis & Clark Applicants C/O 2020
Have a phone interview here tomorrow. Anyone have any idea about what types of questions to expect?

Re: Lewis & Clark Applicants C/O 2020
I applied here but opted out of the interview since my numbers are well above the 75ths.
However, I would anticipate general "why law school" questions along with why Lewis and Clark. How are your numbers if you don't mind me asking.

They'll ask what made you interested in L&C, why Oregon, Why law, hobbies, strengths, weaknesses, the norm basically.PDX4343 wrote:Have a phone interview here tomorrow. Anyone have any idea about what types of questions to expect?
I've had two interviews with them, got in last cycle and decided to wait a year on school and reapplied and was asked for another interview so figured why not maybe it'll help with more aid. Both have been very informal and fun. Don't sweat it!

What questions did they ask you? I have my phone interview Wednesday and I am super nervous! I want to be prepared so I don't fumble my words which tends to happen when I'm nervous/excited.

I interviewed in person around mid-December. The interview was extremely laid back and there weren't any questions you wouldn't expect. Typical "why law school, why the PNW, why L &C, tell us about yourself." I wouldn't sweat it.kelyzan wrote:paytonalexandra wrote:Checking in! I had my Skype interview today and I think it went well.

Really basic questions: Why L&C? Why law? Where do you see yourself after law school? What would you do if you didn't go to law school? What do you consider your biggest accomplishment?kelyzan wrote:

It was really chill, don't stress over it. I would make sure you have questions prepared though, and have some reasons why L&C that aren't based on rankings.

Just had my phone interview. It went really well. I spoke with an Alumni of the school and she gave me great advice! She said it might be 4-6 weeks until a decision is made, it's longer than usual because of inclement weather.
To those who have had an interview, how long after the interview did you receive your decision?

Thanks! I decided to make a trip out there to visit the school. I'm flying out for the weekend on FEB 18th.

If the leak from Spivey is accurate, L&C dropped to #100 in the USNWR law school rankings.
I know the rankings should be taken with a grain of salt, but this drop still makes me nervous. I don't like the thought of attending a TTT.

This board hasn't seen much activity lately, but I thought I'd post. I applied a little late in the cycle, but I am wondering what everyone's thoughts are about Lewis and Clark this cycle? Anyone else apply later this cycle?

I applied in January, some may consider that late in the cycle. I got waitlisted but was accepted 2 weeks after visiting the school.

I very well may attend Lewis and Clark this fall. My numbers are both far above their 75ths, and I've received great offers at USC, Vanderbilt, BU, Emory, Notre Dame, etc., but L&C offered me nearly a full ride and I'm from Portland and would like to stay.
Anybody else seriously considering enrolling?

Like I said above, I applied later in the cycle (close to the deadline), so I am still awaiting a decision. Though, I am fairly confident in my application. So long as I get accepted, I plan to attend! I love Portland and would love to experience law school there.whodareswins wrote:I very well may attend Lewis and Clark this fall.
