Does anyone know what time the program starts tomorrow? I can't find the info on the website or in my email.

I liked the day for the most part. The panels were nice. I know schools usually put their best students on them, but I got a lot of my questions answered when I asked them about a bunch of my own concerns.Capt_Beatty wrote:So what did y'all think of the ASW events?

Ha, I think I met you! I thought the faculty was a bit colder than I had hoped. I visited Lewis and Clark the week before ( i know, i know... rankings, job placement, etc) but I thought L&C had a much more accessible faculty, from first glance. I loved L&C's campus, but the flip side is, if you don't want to study at Gates hall you can go anywhere on campus v. L&C's limited but beautiful facilities.Khalid1994aziz wrote:I liked the day for the most part. The panels were nice. I remember you from the mock class! I thought the faculty was accommodating-one of them sent me a bunch of information on where to look for housing, and the others answered every question i threw at them. I'm 99% sure I'll be attending UW for my JD.Capt_Beatty wrote:Ha, I think I met you! I thought the faculty was a bit colder than I had hoped. Did anyone get any suggestions on housing/finding roommates? I'm fairly certain I'll also be attending!

Officially withdrawn my application, making room for a reverse splitter from a good home.
Good luck to you all (pending candidates and those of you holding out for the second round of $$)

Broke my heart a little, but just withdrew. I seriously wish you all the best. Enjoy UW Law for me. And best of luck with subsequent scholarship rounds.

Hello! I'm going to one more open house in CA but, I'm right there with ya barring some force majeure.Khalid1994aziz wrote:I remember you from the mock class! I was impressed with the important aspects of the ASW, the faculty, the programs, and the current students. The law school building is beautiful, although I wish they gave us a more thorough tour. I also wish we toured other parts of campus, such as the rec center.
It would have been nice if they had used the tour or other activities to give us more of a break between presentations. I found myself losing my attention span at some points (this could also have been because I caught a red-eye flight the night before).
I'm sold. I just need to make sure it's financially feasible. Fingers crossed for a scholly bump!
