I did my group interview on Thursday 1/5 and the ASW trick worked for me 1/9. Snail mail I received later on was also dated 1/9.Wellthen wrote:Exactly one week for me.feefeeriri wrote:How soon after the group interview does the ASW trick work?

Felt the same way about NYU. Ultimately decided to apply because at least now I'll know for sure one way or the other. Wouldn't want to regret not trying.Shakawkaw wrote:I just don't wanna spend a cool hundred to get that swift reject.amta wrote:don't think about it, be about it and be the best you you can be today.Shakawkaw wrote:Is it too late to hail mary GTTTown?

hmmm. weird things happen to reverse splitters and i am not one, so idk if i can speak on the issue because i have done like zero research into reverse splitter outcomes. take one more look at the data; ask yourself "is there a chance?" then decide.Shakawkaw wrote: Above both 75ths.

I was held and haven't heard yet. Don't know of anyone else who's heard either. Your date is Feb. 26, though? Mine is Feb. 28... Thought we were all the same!latetothis wrote:Has anyone who has been held by Georgetown gotten a response yet? I'm supposed to hear back by February 26.

Anyone who interviewed last week try the ASW trick? Not working for me, most people have reported hearing back around a week later

Anyone that was waitlisted have some follow-up advice? I'm finalizing my LOCI after being waitlisted just before Christmas... wondering if I should wait to send it or send it asap?

I was a reverse splitter and got in no problem. Does waiting this long (sumbmitted 11/29) mean a likely ding/WL? Or is there still hope... I feel like everyone else has heard back.

I completely understand not wanting to blow $105. But it's three years of your life, if GULC is somewhere you'd really like to be and would attend if admitted, why not apply? Even with my limited income, I probably wouldn't remember what I spent that money on even a month from now anyway lol. So I'd say go for it! Who knows, you might get good news!!Shakawkaw wrote:Still can't decide. UGH.amta wrote:how bout i buy you a drink at GMU's ASW?Shakawkaw wrote: Will you contribute to my GoFundMe page?
