Checking in. One of my top choices if I can get a decent scholarship.

Checking in, but I'd be nervous to go to Georgetown; I've heard that the DC hiring market is crazy competitive due to the influx of students from other schools who end up working there. Also have heard that Georgetown is cutthroat as hell

Georgetown is in my top 4. Definitely would go if it was my best option scholarship-wise, and I'm above both of their 75ths, so it's possible. But I've heard they're stingy with $$$.

Seconded.TexasENG wrote:Checking in. Definitely interested in Georgetown, but haven't gotten a fee waiver yet. Does anyone know if they give them out at the LSAC forums, or have any luck soliciting one?
I had hoped that after their application opened they would start sending fee waivers.
Does anyone know if they give them out based on CRS data? Or if asking them works?
Also, does anyone know those answers but for Cornell?
The only schools in the top 20 I haven't gotten them for are the top 5 and then cornell and georgetown. Not getting them from the top 5, where I'm under-qualified, makes sense, but I'm still puzzled as to why I didn't receive them from Georgetown and Cornell.

If I remember correctly from other threads, some people have been able to successfully solicit a fee waiver from GULC already. They politely declined my request, though.

they'll come through if you get $$$ at other T14s, which you will.theothercat wrote:Georgetown is in my top 4. Definitely would go if it was my best option scholarship-wise, and I'm above both of their 75ths, so it's possible. But I've heard they're stingy with $$$.

I asked today and got one within an hour or so. Worth a shot! No idea about Cornell, though.LawschoolHopeful2k16 wrote:Seconded.TexasENG wrote:Checking in.
