Should we be expecting acceptances today?? I think there was a wave of acceptances the past two Fridays.

Has anyone see any info about RSVPing to the April Admitted Students Day? I can't seem to find it on the portal or in emails.

if you go to the "my checklist" under the "admissions" tab and scroll to the bottom you can click on the admit tour day and RSVP

edit: oh wait, your talking about the thing in April, they have not released the RSVP yet

Yeah, the April event. Maybe they'll send that info in the mailed packet?

it wasn't in mine. when they release it, I think we will be able to register from the "my checklist". I imagine they will email us when the link is live.

Nope, the acceptance packet just said the date is TBD.

Edit: the portal has the date of April 14th, but you can't RSVP yet.

The April Law Day event is April 14th, isn't? That's what it shows on the portal. I just have no idea what the Law Day is in comparison to the normal admit tour days they have in March.

I think Law Day is when they go all out (panels, events, etc) and the admit tour days are pretty much just tours

You're probably right. Okay, then I guess I'll just be patient until they give us an update!

Does anyone know if USC offers travel stipends for admitted student visit days? I haven't been able to find this information elsewhere on LSN!

When you register the site will give you an option to request a stipend for that admitted day event. They said if approved you must book through their travel agency.

Anyone else get an email inviting them to apply for Rothman? Trying to figure out how much they actually mean "may be a good candidate" before I write the essay (aka, if it was a blast to all admitted students or actually based on some sort of soft indicators from reading apps).

lol I got the same email. I was like "me? A good candidate for the Rothman?"

I have nothing impressive to write about so yea not going do it. If it wasn't sports/entertainment focused I would think more about it.

I didn't get one but I just received an email from the President of USC's Student Bar Association... maybe they think I'm not into sports

I'm thinking email blast too. I got both of the above and I don't remember indicating an interest in the Student Bar association nor am I enough of a special snowflake for Rothman

Blast, I got it. I actually might submit an app now, though, just because I already got accepted and got a really great scholarship, so I can't really mess things up too much by writing a half-hearted essay and hoping I get lucky

Yeah, I feel like everyone who already got a significant merit scholarship is at least in the position of : "well I know they don't hate me"
