That's brutal, hope you hear back soon! Do you remember how long you were under review before being held? I've been under review for a while and I'm starting to get worried

I completed my application on 1/27 and it went under review on 2/6. Anyone know if that's a good sign?

Also, I've seen people mention that their statuses say "initial review" or "comparative review." Mine just says "Application Under Review." Anyone know if that means anything?

I also completed mine on 1/27 and went under review 1/29 so hopefully we should hear back around the same time. On LSN it looks like the last acceptance from UF was two weeks ago, which I think might mean we are due for another round of decisions.

Application under review is the only under review status this cycle. Your status will either change to a decision or "Review Complete- No Decision Made." No decision made is essentially the same as comparative review, according to other posts on this thread.

Applied in mid-December, and got the famous no decision made approximately two weeks after.
Still no evolution. I am pretty sure they were waiting for the December LSAT scores to come in. Hopefully I will get an answer soon.
I am a Gator, so if those of you who got accepted have any question, don't hesitate to message me. I would be glad to answer any question you might have about the University or Gainesville.

My application was under initial review for a week or two, but now it says it's on hold. Anyone else get that? I'm so disappointed, and honestly a little surprised - my numbers are above both 75ths (4.0, 165). I was really aiming for an acceptance and a good scholarship offer.

No, sane here, both numbers above the 75ths. No idea why, but we should probably just be patient

1L at UF law here. It is the standard to be put on hold before an acceptance. All of you are extremely likely to get offered substantial scholarships. Feel free to ask me any questions about UF Law!

Just checked and mine also says "Initial review complete- No decision made." Kind of surprised, but people on this thread have said they were at no decision made for anywhere from a few days to a few weeks.

Applied 2/11, just got an email letting me know I'm in with the Governor's Scholarship (100% tuition).

25 < GPA < 50, LSAT >>> 75, URM.

Was mostly looking at T20s, but this possibility of minimal debt and being in Florida is definitely tempting me.......

+1 on the person who asked about negotiating. I got 75%, how hard is it to negotiate to the full 100? Or should I just wait it out and see if they bump me after not responding ?

I'm trying to do exactly this, I'll post how it goes when they get back to me.

Did you hear back from UF after trying to negotiate? I emailed Dean Byrd on Monday asking for a bump to a 100% scholly. Anxiously awaiting a reply... I hope they don't just ignore me!

It depends on how you define area. If you mean Gainesville, it's not too bad 1L summer because you can take unpaid internships or research assistant positions. But due to the size of the town, it's pretty difficult to land a position for a 2L summer in Gainesville that you'd actually want.

If you mean Florida more generally, you should be able to find something in Florida.
