My interviewer was a recent HLS alum - I'm wondering if they increased the number of people they interview? In the past, weren't all interviews done by JS, Anne, or Tom?

I think it is about the same as previous years (~1200 for ~900 spots). Several years ago the interview used to basically be a formality so depends what you are comparing to.questions5678 wrote:My interviewer was a recent HLS alum - I'm wondering if they increased the number of people they interview? Check in.
Had me js1 today..wasn't satisfactory. I think I screwed up one important question.
She also told me that: "It is gonna be a fairly long process".... Does this imply that I'm probably dinged? (Or maybe just my paranoia? )
Stats: LSAT=75%, GPA>75%, KJD

With stats like that you'd probably have to murder someone live during your interview in order to be dinged.ChelseaZ wrote:Check in.

Probably not even then.

Checking in. Has anyone who applied in late Oct being accepted or interviewed yet? I applied on the 30th and still no answer. Should I be worried?

in response to all of your "should i be worried" posts, no, you should not be worried. things are moving slowly this cycle. thxbyeDaydreamer15 wrote:Checking in. Has anyone who applied in late Oct being accepted or interviewed yet? I applied on the 30th and still no answer. Should I be worried?

Complete 11/18, no JS1 so far
LSAT = 75
GPA < 25
I expect to be waiting quite a while if I get one at all.
Speaking of, how do waitlists work for Harvard? If you get waitlisted, do you still have to go through the JS1/JS2 process before possible acceptance?

I'm in nearly the same boat. I don't think I've seen a single person interviewed with a GPA below the 25th percentile this cycle. I figure, at some point they've got to start admitting some right?addie1412 wrote:Complete 11/18, no JS1 so far

Checking in for solidarity. Great results elsewhere in my cycle, especially with CCN, but no JS1 yet. Now I'm guessing if I get one at all, it won't be until February/March.bloomsday wrote:Similar here, with higher LSAT and a very early complete. It's not a great feeling to see all the lower LSATs get interviews, but I agree that they seem to be holding off on the lower GPAs for now. I've gotten good results elsewhere so it's a crappy feeling not to see the same interest from HLS, but I'm telling myself it's a waiting game...CenterFringe wrote:I'm in nearly the same boat. Had my JS1 today with Tom Robinson. Very laid back - he asked four questions, I asked him three. Feel free to PM me with any questions.
Complete 11/28, JS1 second week of December.

Any reverse splitters get JS1's yet? I went complete in mid-November, and while I don't expect a JS1 necessarily, it'd be great to see if anybody else with similar stats has gotten one yet.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
