I just want it to be clear, those who did a pre-WL JS1 do not need to conduct another interview, correct?

I know this is dumb and I am thinking way too far in the future, but I will be out of the country for two weeks in late June/early July for my honeymoon. Should I eventually tell them this information? I haven't had a JS1 yet.

Would HLS consider a June retake for getting off the WL? My uGPA is the problem with my app, LSAT = median. But maybe a couple more points would provide a boost?

there will be a JS1b for those who have done JS1. it's not an interview but a quick phone call for confirmation.calpolisci2016 wrote:I just want it to be clear, those who did a pre-WL JS1 do not need to conduct another interview, correct?

Me! Surprised - was WL last year and am currently JSnone so assumed they were just throwing me back on that same pile. Somewhat confused but pleased?AllHailKingMao wrote:Me tooxandra_v wrote:Me!klove2020 wrote:Waitlist... best outcome at this point.

they told me last year they would consider june lsat scores for WL if they havent already made a decision about you when your score comes out. would NOT recommend asking them to hold a decision for your score tho...not that you would, just putting it out thereZVBXRPL wrote:Oh yeah! Oooh. Is there a place where I can get more info about the jsb? I just read the entire c/o 2019 waiters thread and they were light on details.appind wrote:there will be a JS1b for those who have done JS1. it's not an interview but a quick phone call for confirmation.calpolisci2016 wrote:I just want it to be clear, those who did a pre-WL JS1 do not need to conduct another interview, correct?
Is this a second shot to impress the ad comm or is it literally them wanting to hear your voice and hanging up?
Do all pre-WL js1 waitlisted folk get a jsb, or is a jsb a sign of continued interest by the ad comm?

If js1b, then it's only to check that one's still interested before js2.calpolisci2016 wrote:Oooh. Is there a place where I can get more info about the jsb? you can get off a waitlist right before finals start ?calpolisci2016 wrote:Waitlisted (JS1 in late Jan). I'm so surprised because I thought when I got the email just now, it'd be part of the rejection wave.
I shouldn't even be here with my numbers, and I'm gonna be happy to ride this until the day before finals week of the first semester. LET'S GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
