(I'll readily admit to being a non-attorney.) But, aren't the circuit courts' boundaries constructed around states/territories??

Probably got too cute with this one.

Re: Northwestern c/o 2020 Applicants (2016-2017)
The U.S. is spit up into 12 geographic circuits. For instance, 9th is west coast (ca, or, mt, hi etc.) There are district court(s) within each circuit. Poll should have been phrased "which circuit do you reside in"? I liked the poll though, very creative!ponderingmeerkat wrote:Did I fuck shit up?curry1 wrote:proteinshake wrote:I don't understand the pollponderingmeerkat wrote:New month, new poll!

Cool. I'll edit it (gunna have to get the UVA one done too). Thanks for saving me from my embarrassing non-law background.curry1 wrote:The U.S. is spit up into 12 geographic circuits. I would say to be prepared to answer "non traditional questions" or very specific questions tailored to one area. This is all anecdotal from a smaple size of just 1 person (ME!). When I went in for my On-Campus, the 2L there really only focused on leadership experience and that was the full range of her questions.

My off-campus interview was really relaxed. My interviewer just told me a lot of information/stories about Northwestern and let me ask questions.airwrecka wrote:I have my off-campus interview tomorrow morning! Any advice/specific things I should read to prepare?

Nice! I hope that's how it is for me, too. I always just love hearing the perspective of someone who's been there.a.sch wrote:My off-campus interview was really relaxed. Does anyone know how much information the alumni interviewers get about you before the off-campus interviews? Does Northwestern send them your application?

They just get your name. However, you're supposed to send them your résumé before the interview so they'll get a lot of info from there.shoparoundthecorner wrote:Does anyone know how much information the alumni interviewers get about you before the off-campus interviews? OK, got it. Yes, sent my resume, I was just curious if they'd have seen my personal statement, LSAT score, etc. Thanks!curry1 wrote:They just get your name. Re: Northwestern c/o 2020 Applicants (2016-2017)
I just realized that I submitted my app and accidentally left the Career Interest and Goals section blank (I checked "This section does not apply to me" for some reason). Is this something worth emailing admissions about to have them add an answer? The section seems pretty inconsequential and I don't have anything too significant to say, but I also don't want it to reflect that I just half-assed the app.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: Northwestern c/o 2020 Applicants (2016-2017)
I just had my off campus/alumni interview and she had my resume (which I sent her ahead of time) and a list of generic questions Northwestern had given her. It was very casual...she asked me a little about my resume, why law (in general), why NU, etc. Then she talked about her experience at NU based on the things I said. She asked if I had questions, and answered them...that was about it!shoparoundthecorner wrote:Does anyone know how much information the alumni interviewers get about you before the off-campus interviews? While I do not know the odds, I can only provide anecdotal info, sample size of 1 My friend from UG had a 3.9/163 - Cuban URM zip work experience and zip time out of UG and got 40k a year. He applied ED and got moved to RD, then he was offered 40k. This seems like an outlier correct?

I don't know this, but are we expecting more generous scholarships for everyone this year because of the Pritzker donation? Is that what people last cycle (aka the first cycle to have that money) experienced? Fingers crossed yes...SweetTort wrote:Do y'all know the odds of scholarships for KJDs?

Not sure about Northwestern this year but just noticed that UCLA Law has two different full tuition scholarship programs this year: http://law.ucla.edu/admissions/full-tui ... -programs/katthegreat11 wrote:I don't know this, but are we expecting more generous scholarships for everyone this year because of the Pritzker donation?
