I'll keep being excited for BU even if no one else is haha. Currently trying to decide if applying ED and for the PI scholarship looks bad...like I only want money or something

Ugh. At least you got it in early so hopefully you'll hear back early. I'm taking the September LSAT so I have to wait

Did you go for the PI scholarship or anything? Can't find any good stats on acceptance rates for their scholarships or binding decision applicants

Heavily leaning towards a ED app here - also don't have any stats on people that have been accepted through that... would be nice to have! Planning on visiting around the time Sept. scores come back (end of October) to make sure I'm comfortable with the binding acceptance.

I'm thinking applying ED too. I plan on staying in Boston and BU is a great regional school. free tuition makes the choice for me a bit.

Based on the stats for the people who DIDNT get ED on last years thread...I definitely think you need to at least be above both medians...maybe even both 75th. I'm guessing the idea is that they get a bump in stats by offering free tuition to people who could get into much better schools. It would be nice to know how many people a year they accept ED and PI though.

Yeah, I'm around the GPA median and hopefully coming in well above LSAT 75th - I'm thinking of writing up an email asking if they have/can give out info on it. I emailed earlier this summer to make sure there wasn't any excessive stipulation on the scholarship or anything (there's not; just good academic standing) and they were helpful on that front.

Good to know about stipulations!

If you do reach out let me know what they say. Any info is probably more than we have now.

No I did not. I imagine that those scholarships will be more competitive this time around though with BU's rise in the rankings.

Got a response today; they average 160 apps for ED and accepted around 7 each year. I'm sure that number goes up or down based on the qualifications of the applicants though.

Currently a 3LOL at BU. 20k/yr Scholarship and firm job lined up after graduation (just outside of NY @ 160k, but lower billables). Taking questions.

Thanks for the offer! i am sure you can't say anything too negative on here but any specific pros and cons about the school you think are important to know? BU is my top choice as long as I can get enough scholarship money
