Anyone know when they'll begin to release waitlists?

People still merely under review: did you send in your CSS to Stanford yet?
I'm wondering if I should wait it out in case I get a reject in next few weeks or just send it and be done with it.

Wondering same. Is it too hopeful to just send it in?Rigo wrote:People still merely under review: did you send in your CSS to Stanford yet?

Not yet, because I'm superstitious. I think I will in March, though, so if I do get lucky and get in, I'm not scrambling.crookedsmile wrote:Wondering same. Is it too hopeful to just send it in?Rigo wrote:People still merely under review: did you send in your CSS to Stanford yet?

Do we have to fill out the financial aid documents before the March 15 deadline even if we haven't received a decision yet? And which documents?

Got an e-mail from Stanford University with the subject line "Invitation to participate..." My heart stopped.
Then realized it was my work e-mail and it was just a survey for government employees in my state. NOT. OKAY.

Mid-April, from last year's thread (I think Apr. 18 was the first officially reported WL, from someone who went DLS a week earlier).haley12 wrote:+1Assasindowntheavenue wrote:Anyone know when they'll begin to release waitlists?
Unrelated, but in my thread stalking/research, it looks like the mailing section on the status checker popped up for people during March/April and wild speculation ensued. I have it and thought nothing of it -- was it ever confirmed to be correlated with a decision? I'm assuming not, but I'm never going to pass up an opportunity to speculate some more.

Like just the blank box with the title Mailings? Thought that was always there.

Exactly -- I remember wondering if it had always been there a month or so ago, but figured I was just staring at too many status checkers. Given that, the two-ish pages of speculation last year piqued my curiosity -- I'm assuming it doesn't mean a damn thing, but was curious if anyone knew otherwise.Assasindowntheavenue wrote:SmallK wrote:

Hey, does anyone know if there is a way to check that Stanford received your FAFSA and CSS? Thanks!

Correct. Sad right?scott2016 wrote:So if waitlists don't go out until April, we could conceivably hear nothing until then?
