Hmmm, does anyone know if people living abroad will get a call if they get accepted?

How long after receiving the acceptance call did you receive the offer email? (Dean Faye said she would send out the package that same day when she called.)

I didn't. In the email Dean Deal said she had tried to call me on my foreign number, but when she couldn't get through she sent the decision electronically instead.applepie3 wrote:Hmmm, does anyone know if people living abroad will get a call if they get accepted?

Thanks! In general, how do you withdraw your application from another school? Can't seem to find a form online to decline offer.. do you just email the admissions office explaining intent?katthegreat11 wrote:Guys I made the Stanford C/O 2020 page, come check it out!!

Dear __,
Thank you so much for your kind offer to join the class of 20XX. I must respectfully decline because I will be accepting an offer elsewhere [it's totally up to you if you want to tell them where; they will be curious and might even follow up to ask]
Best,
Awesome Applicant
