CU Boulder/Denver Sturm scholly information

Post by connordalto » Sat Aug 13, 2016 4:29 pm

Hi all, I am applying for the 2017 admissions cycle and was wondering about scholarships for both these schools. I have a 3.73 gpa and a 163 LSAT (re-taking in December so may be in the range of 165+). Average softs (summa cum laude thesis, letter of rec from law professor, lots of research experience).

Have you had any experiences with scholly money from these schools/would you recommend either for jobs post grad (I want to work in denver, biglaw not necessary). Thinking about focusing on environmental law.

Any info would be appreciated, thanks!

Didn't apply to DU (and wouldn't with your stats either) but for reference I had a 3.6/166 and CU gave me full ride 1L, 10k 2L and 3L, which I eventually negotiated to full ride 1L and 16k 2L and 3L (was in-state as well)

Good luck!

I applied in 2010 and had a full ride from DU and a small scholarship from CU. I went to CU and never regretted my choice.

I had similar stats to Mayors, a slightly higher lsat, slightly lower gpa and I got the same full ride 1L, 10k a year for 2L and 3L deal but they would not increase it for me. I did not apply to DU.
