Did the e-mail come via admissions@law.columbia.edu? Just want to make sure that my decision didn't go to spam or something. Thanks!

TBH, I've just been obsessively checking my spam folder too. And every other folder. Man, Columbia held someone (pandaaa) who got in YLS. They are being brutal this year.curry1 wrote:Did the e-mail come via admissions@law.columbia.edu? Just want to make sure that my decision didn't go to spam or something. Thanks!

Lol. This cycle will be the death of me.

Could just be me, but I'm getting the impression that everyone is being brutal this year... in the midst of a down cycle. I don't understand this game.VapidP wrote:TBH, I've just been obsessively checking my spam folder too. And every other folder. Man, Columbia held someone (pandaaa) who got in YLS. No, I agree? Especially an LSAT heavy school like Columbia...idk how they'll maintain their increase in numbers with seemingly a lot of >/=median's on hold.Nightwing wrote:Could just be me, but I'm getting the impression that everyone is being brutal this year... in the midst of a down cycle. Re: Columbia c/o 2020 applicants (2016-2017)
They would have to get >1/6th of 174 + people this cycle to actually attend to maintain their numbers. That seems pretty unlikely, given how many people have to be absorbed by HYS/other T14's and people who are unacceptable due to c&F/absymal gpa.Nickel94 wrote:No, I agree? Hopefully, we see some record-breaking early waitlist offers and early march acceptances.CHyde wrote:Speculation without evidence: schools are waiting for Feb LSAT retaker scores before making definitive decisions. Also I'm sure they'll all in touch with each other bc didn't the deans from penn and Michigan do a seminar together?
