So I heard from someone who got the Hamilton that eventually went to Harvard that it doesn't get redistributed. I'm not sure though.

Hmmm. I wonder how that person would know, though? It's not like Columbia would email them back and say "oh well, we're not going to give this money to anyone else now"....
