They're not #1 for me, but I am really interested. Still haven't submitted yet (tues/weds prob), but I'm hopeful!Thomas Hagan, ESQ. wrote:Anyone else apply ED?
I love Duke, but seems like everyone here has been PT ("They gave me a PT so why not?"). Am I the only one that puts them #1? hahaha

So, I was just waitlisted ("priority reserve" lol). I already wrote a "why Duke"; is there anything else I can do that would get my application to slip through?
GPA is between 25 and 50, LSAT is at median
Kicking myself for not applying back in September before my disastrous retake attempt

write a LOCI. I'm not sure if you should send one ASAP or wait until later in the cycle though. I'd ask some more experienced people or post in the Spivey thread. sorry bro.RamTitan wrote:So, I was just waitlisted ("priority reserve" lol). And no worries; Duke is one of my top choices at this point, but I'm fine with other options as they present themselves. Just gotta hang and stay flexible.

Hey I'm sorry to hear that your plan to retake didn't go as planned. I remember you from the June LSAT and the chances thread. Edit sorry I realize this is more a personal thing and not a duke related thing so feel free to PM me!RamTitan wrote:Thanks for the advice.proteinshake wrote:write a LOCI. Re: Duke Law School c/o 2020 Applicants (2016-2017)
Guess: you sort applicants by $$$ and see who got exactly Mordecai $. For ND, you would need to see who get exactly $150 then go to their profile and see if they applied ED. I don't think there is an easier way.88234 wrote:How do you narrow this down on LSN? Trying to find out population who got NU ED.I looked on Law school numbers for the last three cycles. I do wonder what happens to those schollys when they turn them down though... do they go to people with lower stats who then don't update their LSN?TexasENG wrote:FWIW, I looked on Law school numbers for the last three cycles. Everyone who got a Mordecai was >75% LSAT and almost all were >75% GPA. I think lowest LSAT I saw was a 168 but majority were 173 or higher, and lowest GPA was like a 3.6 with most being 3.75 or higher.katthegreat11 wrote:I too would like to know this!SweetTort wrote:Anyone have info on what it takes to be competitive for Mordecai?
Almost everyone who got the Mordecai was in at a min of one of HYS and majority accepted HYS, from people on law school numbers who got the mordecai I would say it was like a 5% attendance rate to Duke lol. Kinda makes me wonder the incentive is for schools like Duke to give their schollies to those students who are almost always not going to accept them.

Definitely one of my top choices, but not applying ED. I am taking the December LSAT so I won't have my app completed until then.Thomas Hagan, ESQ. wrote:Anyone else apply ED?

Does Duke send acceptances by snail mail or email?
