Not necessarily, they could be automatically scheduled to go out.Dr.Degrees_Cr.Cash wrote:Just got a Duke law weekly, does that mean offices are open?
But on the other hand, I was surprised to hear some schools were closed today in the first place--KJD here, my undergrad is 100% open. So Duke might be open too. *goes to check status checker for scholly*

Any recent movement from Priority Reserve list? I've heard they admit people off of this list at any time, so I'm curious what if anyone's gotten in off of it recently or if I should expect to just wait until May.

Definitely email them with your other offer and ask for more money. Worked for me.chargers21 wrote:Received my scholarship offer letter today. Definitely feel like I got lowballed. Really want to be in Durham next year but I have a better offer from a higher ranked school :/

I wonder why you haven't gotten it when some people in SoCal have already received theirs (except me)! I also wonder why they decide to mail out scholly info when they email you your acceptances.. does it come in a fancy package or something? I am just curious and dying to know loljoeytribbiani wrote:I'm in Boston and haven't received mine yet, mailed 2/14. Looks like the first wave was on Wednesday 2/8, second wave was Tuesday 2/14, but since today was a holiday maybe the next wave will be tmr?Dr.Degrees_Cr.Cash wrote:did anybody have anything happen with status checker today re: scholarship? I'm thinking of going! I'll be arriving at 10:30 am in RDU so I would have nothing better to do than attend their events anyway hahaproteinshake wrote:just got the email about the diversity reception. anyone else thinking about going? sounds fun! not sure if I'm gonna stay with a current student though since I'm planning on just staying with a friend who lives near Durham.
I also have a roomie lined up for ASW but we're wondering if we would have to crash on a current students' sofa or the floor if we arrange it with them? I'm thinking of emailing back for more details on that if nobody here knows how that would work since I'd prefer not to sleep on a sofa lol

current student replied to someone's fb post in the group and said "It depends on the student host, but at the very least most of us have couches/pull out couches for you all to use during the visit!"Dr.Degrees_Cr.Cash wrote:I would also like to know about staying with a student at ASW if anyone has had any communication on that

Is there a process for getting matched with a student or is it more loose?proteinshake wrote:Christinabruin wrote:I'm thinking of going! if it's not in the ASD registration I'd guess you'd have to email admissions about it.Dr.Degrees_Cr.Cash wrote:Is there a process for getting matched with a student or is it more loose?proteinshake wrote:Christinabruin wrote:I'm thinking of going! Would also love to know why I haven't... could be my school being slow to sort mail - checked my box again this morning and nothing. Will check at the end of the day and hopefully get it then.Christinabruin wrote:I wonder why you haven't gotten it when some people in SoCal have already received theirs (except me)!
