Chicago, if you're reading this, I'm waiting for you to let me know that you are a competitive option and not at sticker price.

Did they give a timeline for when we'd hear back for scholarships?

my UR1 is one day before you. Do you know how long we would wait for interview, approximately?
literally spent 6 weeks for UR1, i think it is a bit late, what about yours?

So proud of U Chicago! here the new 2018 USNEWS ranking. At the end of the day, ranking matters.
Harvard dropped to 3, U Chicago remains 4, Columbia dropping to 5, Georgetown dropping to 15. A lot of surprises...

No idea. I'm just gonna wait and see. You could probably go back through the thread and find a timeline for late apps, though.

Interview with Chicago today (honestly pretty surprised I got the invite) - any tips/thoughts?

Also, is there a consensus on time from interview to decision typically?

I actually think Chicago is one of the biggest winners with these new rankings. Last year with the ties at #2 and #4, there was a pretty significant distinction between T3 and T6. That obviously still exists, but I think these new rankings muddy the waters just a bit, potentially opening new comparisons between Chicago and Harvard.

If I get admitted I'll let you know (don't think I have the background that would make me a compelling choice for them to interview if not everyone gets the invite)

I also don't have a substantial business background, so everyone may be interviewed.
That is my suspicion. Bummer don't want to get my hopes up.

Yeah, but everyone wants you this cycle, so I think you've got something special that most of us peasants are missing.
