the inevitable result of progressive taxation is that taxes become unjusifiably high.chargers21 wrote:Protein, we definitely need to create our own little echo chamber sometime next yearI am in the taxation is theft crowd, especially at current levels. I made a New Years Resolution to stop arguing or debating with people over the internet so I couldn't even participate in today's discussion. It's really messing with shitpoasting abilities

idek. I was always under the impression that there are a diverse set of views in Fed Soc.chargers21 wrote:Isn't federalist society into state's rights? Because I hate state's rights.... Lol. Far right states like mine have stupid laws, and far left states have stupid laws. I'd prefer just one set of not stupid laws that allows me to move freely from state to state for work without getting pissed off hahaproteinshake wrote:the inevitable result of progressive taxation is that taxes become unjusifiably high.chargers21 wrote:Protein, we definitely need to create our own little echo chamber sometime next yearI am in the taxation is theft crowd, especially at current levels. To stir the pot a little again.. For those of you who were railing against taxation, how do you reconcile the fact that people born into money have huge amounts of advantages that kids born in poor family simply do not have. Advantages that rich kids never worked for a day in their life and haven't earned on merit.

Simple. Life is not fair. Your job is to make the most of your unique situation and circumstances.RParadela wrote:To stir the pot a little again.. Wait, so rich kids somehow "earned" their advantage because one of their ancestors got filthy rich? Fucking weird logic, mate.chargers21 wrote:Ehh, I was born poor. And I see rich families as having had someone work hard or have a great idea sometime in the past to earn them that lifestyle. Long term family financial stability incentives great ideas, in my opinion.RParadela wrote:To stir the pot a little again.. Gonna say a trust fund ain't hard work and also, can't ignore the fact that slavery and racism have literally set back minorities (black ppl especially) in the countryAlexandros wrote:Wait, so rich kids somehow "earned" their advantage because one of their ancestors got filthy rich?
