People on other threads have already started. It's probably not going to hurt you to ask on Monday. If you wanted to be safe you could wait until the apps open in LSAC (August 20ish). It's usually a quick turn around apparently, so you could ask then and have the fee waiver by Sept.1

But again you're most likely fine now
There was another thread with a person saying they had emailed a lot of the t-14 or t-20 or something and got fee waivers from a lot of them.

I emailed the schools he got waivers from, so I will report back when I get responses. S/he said he got waivers from them last application cycle though, so maybe that's why he's getting em so early. Cause I'm striking out so far.

So far UChi and Penn have been like "nah". Lel oops? It's prob too early, Penn at least said they start sending out waivers through CRS in early Sept.

Agreed. I didn't see why it would make a difference as to when I requested, especially since that one person seems to have gotten em.

But, for sure being over eager. Just want to get everything sorted, but I need to cool my jets a bit

ETA did just get one from Virginia tho.

I gave my PS to a friend to review. She said it would take 1 day. It's been 5. I'm pretty sure the page is going to be entirely red with edits and I will want to fix it all.

Must. Focus. on. LSAT. Prep.

I don't think your earliness was the reason. I don't think Chicago and Penn give fee waivers in response to emails. I could be wrong though, so if someone knows of anyone that has successfully solicited from one of these schools in any previous cycles lmk.

But there's also the situation where you email a school and then they just reply with "lol we only do that thru CRS" and then they give u a fee waiver like a few weeks later - it's unclear whether the email actually plays a role in that or not.

How long does a single application take to complete? I'm assuming it's similiar to a job application with a couple of essays thrown in?

fwiw a couple cycles ago i got a fee waiver from every T14 that gives one (that is, everyone except HYS and Berk)

I got waivers from UVA, Michigan, Duke, Cornell, Northwestern, all without soliciting.

I emailed Chicago, Columbia, NYU, Penn, and Georgetown for waivers; Gtown was the only school that gave me a waiver in response to my email. The other schools just replied saying that they do it through CRS, and then they all gave me a waiver through CRS a few weeks afterwards.

Mostly, yes. Ashley of it is the same everywhere, and are more or less questions and bio info. Then, you attach your PS, any adendums, div statement, resume, disclose c&f issues, and any other essays the school may require.

You can knock most of them out quickly once you have all your attachments uploaded to LSAC

Do you think your email mattered (when it came to getting them through CRS)? ALSO! Were any of them hidden or were you informed about them all? I don't have crazy great stats so I doubt I'll get all of them, but still, would love to max out my fee waivers because I'm having difficulty narrowing down a list since my stats are a little hard to predict.

Also, I know everyone is in like freak out "the cycle/LSAT is so close" mode but... does anyone watch Suits? I just caught up on last week's episode and I swear the writers are trying to give me a heart attack this season!

Is there any better day for someone to OP a thread for this American hero's alma mater, Duke Law?

But seriously like a ton of other schools need OPs too. By this time last year c/o2019 had like all of the t14 up.

Why is c/o 2020 so LOW ENERGY?

No need for the whole T14 to have threads if we're all going to Cooley to make it great again anyways.
