Then again, I still think Harvard is a reach, so maybe I am just deluding myself today.
I know that it's Yale, so my anecdotal piece of advice might not be of interest to you here but - I was told that with my LSAT, I'd be out at each T14. I'm in at GULC and UVA so far. This might just be a good year -or- some of the schools are practicing the holistic admissions review process that they love to advertise lol. I say go for it if you're cool with paying the fee and actually would attend if accepted.
I would definitely attend, I don't want to throw money away if I am just hyping those new numbers up in my head. If my calculation is correct, the information from Spivey shows that only 135 people have applied this cycle with a 177 or above. To maintain a 75th% of 176, surely they need to accept a good number of those 135.
I should probably just stop thinking too much into it.

I have similar numbers and plan on applying. Not because I think I have a chance in hell of getting in, but because I know I'll regret it if I don't even try.
...not going to lie though, I'm agonizing over my 250 haha

Look at it this way: If you have any painful LOCI's, Why X, or interviews you've been putting off, put that Vicodin and downtime to good use and knock 'em out.

You guys got Vicodin for your wisdom teeth?! My dentist only gave me Tylenol 2. And I definitely had squirrel cheeks.

That's so brutal. I was trashed on Vicodin and still felt that pain. Time for a new dentist!

It was rough. My mom, however, thought my face looked hilarious and therefore thought it was good parenting to sneakily take pictures of me while I was sleeping.
Luckily, I was able to use the experience to write an "overcoming adversity" personal statement, which is sure to get me into a T6 at least. I'll be thanking that dentist someday

jesus. I took it once and got rid of the rest of the bottle. Hated it.
Yeah, that's terrifying. that's what's causing a lot of the spike of heroin/opioid addiction in the US

Yale Professors definitely love Will Ferrell.
On another note, completely 100% serious, I put a West Wing quote in my personal statement (I swear it was relevant). It could be a bit polarizing, half the people probably went
and the other half
. I have a friend that had an admissions interview and he brought up West Wing, they had a 10 minute convo about WW and he got admitted at the end.

I got a script for ibprofen. Just took some migraine pills instead since I didn't drink coffee beforehand. The pain is less than ideal now that the numbing is wearing off.
Yo ibruprofen is my jam
