Re: TLS c/o 2020 Applicants (politics pole)
Where the hell do all of you work that you get staff appreciation day?!?!?!
I'm the only staff person in my office (I count as the receptionist, office manager, and paralegal) and I don't even get any paid time off (not even sick days
). AND I brought my boss cake today!
Sigh. I would quit asap if I weren't going to law school in a couple months. At this point it's just better to ride it out cause I can't get another decent job for just 2 months.

Corporate America. It's my thanks for sitting in a cubicle all day and devoting my entire life to my job in February and Marchairwrecka wrote:Where the hell do all of you work that you get staff appreciation day?!?!?!

And I really like the attorneys I work with. Human interactions can make all the difference.

The LSAT is secretly on a scale of 120-190, and 181+ scorers immediately get positions as trophy spouses.thatlawlkid wrote:Is there like a test i can take to skip all this and be a trophy husband for a rich wife? Ya'll are great, but frankly this law thing seems like a lot of work.

SAME. I was working out so much and eating so clean before starting here, but now all I do is sit and eat. Although sitting here gives me time to TLS so it's an OK trade-off hahaldlestrange wrote:agree with all of the above. esp the food part.... gained like ten lbs since working here fmlchandhi wrote:I can vouch for most of this.
