Probably won't make a difference at all.

If you are a splitter you can try to persuade admissions officers that your sports background (assuming you mean division I college athletics, nothing else would be considered high level) was a reason your GPA was not higher, and you may be able to use the work experience to distance yourself from your GPA. If you're not a splitter, I can't see your softs being a huge plus.

While Im talking to OP with pm, I just want to disagree that only d1 will be considered high level. I know in at least a few instances where non-d1 college sports were considered high level- talking multiple final fours, etc, but it is not necessarily only d1. But any who its not a big deal, just thought id let you know Rare Exports
