Just got an email asking to express whether or not you wish to stay on the waitlist.

They mentioned that even though they've extended deposit deadlines they expect to pull some from the waitlist!

Checking in!

I live across the street from Duke Law and would love to not have to move next year.

I wrote one a while ago - I just put letter of continued interest and my name in the subject line. Make sure you put your LSAC # in the letter as well.

+1 I'm living in Durham too and I'd love to get a chance to stay and go to Duke, but also having to be realistic and make plans to move

Sooo, where else are people depositing while they wait out Duke?

I'm on my way to Michigan if Duke doesn't come through (Go Blue!)

Just got an interview invitation. I'm on the regular waitlist, not priority, so not sure how good of a chance I have. Did anyone else get an interview?

Same here!!! I also got an interview request and I am on the regular waitlist. :D I'm pretty surprised, I certainly wasn't expecting it, but I'm not complaining!

Me too! Hopefully it was somewhat exclusive and not just offered to every single waitlisted candidate

I counted the interview timeslots (I'm crazy I know but I'm not f'ing around here) and it looks like there were 60 slots open. It could have been first come first serve but either way, 60 people will get interviewed. Here are the stats from the last 3 cycles of admissions:

Duke: 17.7% (288 applicants on LSN did not withdraw from the waitlist, 51 eventually admitted)

Looking at last years waitlist stats (and the year before), on mylsn they waitlist about 250-300~ people and accept about 50 so. So either way, it's exciting and a good sign!
50 is a lot! Let's hope they keep that up this year!

Just accepted a slot at another school off the wait list and will be withdrawing first thing Monday morning, hopefully that opens a slot for one of you! Good Luck!

So thats about 50 over two cycles then? Or both of them were around 50 each?

Oh you're right, last 3 cycles, it's combined. I thought it was bit odd that so many people put their numbers on mylsn.

I got an interview invitation, but all of the slots are being shown as either unavailable or closed! I've tried from multiple computers and they are all showing the same thing. Did anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it?? I love Duke and really want to interview!

Hey guys I just finished 1l and wanted to say keep the faith. There were people let in literally a week before orientation. Also Dean Hoye is super nice and awesome generally. Best Dean at any t14 law school hands down.

Anyone on priority reserve hear anything or get an interview request?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
