If someone has access to interview slots I think checking to see if any have opened up would give us a good idea.
Sorry but there are still no slots open

Wow, this is the longest it's ever taken. Maybe they'll take no one off the waitlist?!

If history is any guide, they will almost certainly take people off the waitlist. One (supported only by super-anecdotal evidence) explanation might be that there were slightly more initial commits in this year's class and so they are just taking their time during these first couple weeks of May to evaluate the class. As of today, there are 601 in the FB group; last year, there were 539 in the Facebook group on May 4th (before any WL activity had occurred) and two years go there were 524 on May 1st. Keep in mind the current number includes admins, current students, and likely a substantial number of people who won't be at HLS in the fall but who have not bothered to leave the group.

Still - things don't look great. Anyone want to get a betting pool on the over/under of JS2s from the WL? Any oddsmakers among us?

Its already fluctuated a lot today, went from 595 to 605 to 601 to 600.
any reason behind this fluctuation? 595 to 605 is quite a lot of people

If there's no movement by the end of the week, I propose a sacrifice. Someone should deposit at Cooley.

Perhaps it's time for our favorite daily game: the somebody-check-to-see-if-interview-slots-have-opened-up game. Any players?

Haha you know, considering how many people kept shouting "Hey Hilde!" at ASW, I wouldn't be surprised if the whole admissions team knows my true identity. 8) If I could figure out a way to influence them without revealing the true extent of my dorkdom, I would. I'm sending good vibes your way though!

I feel like such a TLS scrubadubdub, but what is the running gag on Cooley? What is this school, and why is this the most made fun of school on the internets? Heck, I even heard people mention it at Law Day at USC.

What is going on? I'm actually genuinely stumped.

Last year harvard made offers to 931 people, so I imagine there's still some to go? (http://hls.harvard.edu/dept/jdadmission ... and-facts/)

Then they wouldn't have Waitlisted people without a JS1?

To be fair, a lot of peer schools haven't had movement (e.g. Chicago and CLS) so maybe we will see a slower progression as they try to analyze medians.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
